302 Oyster Pearl - by Stay in Umhlanga

Firstly,our host Clyde was so friendly and so helpful.He responded fast to any queries and he was just so pleasant.The unit is stunning,very modern and has everything you would need in a holiday unit.The lift entrance into the unit,was a major plus.Clyde is doing an excellent job of keeping this unit in fantastic condition.The position was amazing,so relaxing.The unit is right on the beach,you have breaker and ocean views.We saw dolphins and whales from the verandah.Will definitely be booking only this unit when I come to Umhlanga again.

Great location with a fantastic view and peaceful surroundings. Comfortable and spacious living area. The kitchen is well equipped, with a very modern look and feel with high quality fittings and appliances.

The property is truly gorgeous, better than what the pictures depict. The view of the beach as you walk out of the elevator and into the apartment will stay with us for a long time to come. Gugu, the lady who freshened up the property daily was very friendly. The area was affected by a water outage during our stay and the housekeeper was efficient in keeping us in the loop with municipal communication once he was alerted of the outage. Great communication overall.

We overall loved our stay and did not have complaints about the property that warranted us to complain. What can be improved on, is the hot water in the bathrooms. Not all the en-suite bathrooms had the same water temperature. Only the main bathroom had the hot water whereas the other bathrooms had lukewarm water, worse when others had showered/bathed as well. This was not a deal breaker for us as I could still get my hot shower so I did not raise it during my stay.

Flat was great. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and looking at the waves first thing in morning was bliss. Flat was ideal home from home with everything you needed

Didn’t get much sun on balcony but we went in June (their winter) but wouldn’t put me off going again

Hot water in the showers insufficient for 6 people, quality of bath towels could be improved

Exceeded expectations. It's beautiful, well maintained and has everything needed to be comfortable. The view is amazing! The beach and restaurants are within walking distance. It was a very peaceful and relaxing.

what a great location this is. The apartment is spacious and neatly furnished. The elevator stops in the apartment which gives a real wow factor. The view from the balcony is so beautiful, you can see Durban city and on the left you see the lighthouse and of course the sea. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We only stayed 2 days, but certainly could have stayed longer. Had a really great stay!
