Agam Homestay -100 meters from golden temple

The staff were very friendly and helpful, location is ideal for temple and shopping market, the accommodation was neat and clean . Host was good english speaker which was most important for me.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the guy who runs it. And ok, the location.

Everything else is a sad story😬 I cannot understand all the good reviews here, but what can you expect from such a cheap place. We were supposed to stay for three nights, but had to give up after one. The worst thing here are the beds. They are far too hard! The pillows too, really uncomfortable. Second, the bathroom. It’s tiny, and it’s leaking water on the floor constantly. Warm water only appears in the tap next to the shower. We had to ask for towels to the kids, and we had to ask for linen. The water heater is in another room, and there was no explanation to how to use it. Well, if you want a nice and cheap place to stay, keep away from this one!

The room was very comfy and the staff were welcoming.No noice in my room, it was relaxing.Room service was also very good and there was a large selection to choose from on the menu. Great location for main sight seeing in Amritsar
