The facility was great and the room was great also. The beach and pools were in excellent condition.

Starting on the morning of 5/11/26 at approximately 7:30 am a destruction crew began removing the roof tiles on the building The noise alone work us up and continued thru out the day until 4:30 pm. This continued for until Friday with the same noise and approx. wake up time. (Tuesday was an exception due to rain during the day) Saturday there was nailing going on in the early morning and stopped before noon. I am sure this was a scheduled event set up in advance. Why weren't the potential guest advise of this by you or the management prior to our reservations and payment? To spend a week out of our 17 days being inconvenienced ( at the least) during our vacation is irresponsible and I feel we are due some sort of compensation for our troubles which could have been avoided by a notice ahead of time to look at different options at the El Matador or other resorts in the area. Spending plane fare and car rentals plus the daily rental at the resort adds up to a large amount of money and then to loose five days to roof repairs does not seem fair. ( Our unit was on the second floor of a two story building) Please provide a written response to our complaint. Thank you.
