Paul was so lovely and super helpful, great communication from booking through the stay. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom including toothbrushes. They thought of everything we may need. The house was very homely, a home away from home, which was great for a family staying.

I think having an electric shower would improve the property, getting up super early for work meant I had a few cold showers as the water wasn't heated yet. But that would be the only criticism I have.

The house is old, and the beds are uncomfortable. It doesn’t accommodate four people well. The floor creaks loudly, so if someone is awake, everyone in the house will be disturbed. It’s dusty, which caused issues for those with allergies. The kitchen supplies are outdated, and all the pans are scratched. The heating is not predictable: it switches on and off on its own schedule. Sometimes it is too warm and sometimes is too cold.

Well equipped with all the amenities we needed. Great location - walking distance to shops.

Very narrow stairs to take luggage. We managed ok, but it might not be suitable for this with mobility issues or a bit older.

The house and especially the kitchen was very well stocked. There isn't anything that Paul hasn't thought of. I stayed for 6 nights so it was quite a long stay, and the thoughtfulness really helped. The location is brilliant with easy access to the main road that has wonderful restaurants and the bus stop is a 2 min walk. Paul's communication was excellent and it's evident that he cares deeply about hospitality.

The upper floor is very creaky. This means that if one person wakes up, everyone else wakes up. The water pressure in the shower is quite slow.
