The house was clean. Central heating was excellent Showers were very good The location was quiet with plenty of street parking We met the host who was friendly and welcoming The house was good for the five of us to stay one night

If we were staying longer we would have wanted bedside lamps for each room Also hand towels Cork screw is needed But as one night stay after a family party it was not a problem

The hosts were amazing.the house was lovely tidy and clean.. we needed emergency accommodation, and they helped me out massively. Thank you to them for all they did. The house was spotless and confty with plenty of room.

The lady who let us in was friendly, but she wasn’t the owner and wasn’t aware of what amenities came with (or should have come with) the property.

On arrival we were told “the boiler is broken, so you’ll be staying next door.” Next door (number 75) had been hurriedly cleaned by the lady, but there were still items in the fridge, someone else’s used toiletries, used tea towels and used washing up sponges. The house was lacking in the amenities we had specifically booked and paid for: tumble dryer, air conditioning and dishwasher. Ironically, forced to wash up by hand, the sink had no plug! There was no hairdryer, only one lamp for 3 bedrooms, no storage (so we couldn’t unpack) and nowhere to hang up clothes to dry after we’d washed them in the washing machine. Not even coat hangers or an airer. Crockery was chipped and incomplete - there was barely enough for 3 of us, let alone the 8+ people it claimed to cater for. There were mysterious tablets under the sink - presumably medication - and cupboards contained other people’s mail. One of the sofas was broken, only evident when you sat on it. Next door (number 73 where we were supposed to be staying) had people living there throughout our stay, so I do not believe the boiler was broken. Most concerning, there were no smoke detectors throughout the property, which is illegal. The host is uncontactable and meanwhile continues to rake in money for (probably) two properties that are nothing like as advertised. Booking.com are still dealing with our complaint. As such, we shall not be using them again.

Excellent value and modern kitchen. Huge Tv in living room. Quite location and great communication from host Booked late through work and had a call and lovely chat with host who was very helpful
