It was in a good location. Had all the facilities we needed. Great selection of cooking equipment. Felt very warm and homely.

Although it was clean we did have musty smelling towels and bedding just in the main bedroom. The kids rooms were okay.

Wat een heerlijk huis op een rustige plek. Lekker licht alles bij de hand, prima wifi en een heerlijke douche! Wij hebben er van genoten zo lekker op een steenworp van ilfracombe.

The oven and some of the utensils were not particularly clean. The kitchen blind was difficult to use The property was not ready at check in.

Great location, very clean and tidy with a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent quality utensils, TV, radio, and very nice wine and drinks glasses. Obviously owned by people of high standards, and it says a lot that they welcome guests to their lovely home away from home. I will definitely visit again. Thank you.

I couldn't find it. After a 7 hour drive, in appalling weather the instructions, once on site, could not have been more misleading, and the signage on the site might as well not exist, for what it's worth, especially in the dark and howling rainstorm. There's no one to contact, phone doesn't respond and email address not recognised. I ended up having to book a hotel in Ilfracombe, where I arrived like a drowned rat. Even when I returned the following morning, no one in "reception" had "anything to do with it", although there was a map of the site from which I managed to ascertain the actual location of 6 Atlantic Crescent. This is a serious issue for the traveller, and according to staff at the adjacent pub, far from uncommon. It was a frustrating and disappointing start.

The lodge is bright, clean and very well equipped. It is in a great location to visit the North Devon area. There is a large Tesco 7 mins drive away. There is parking for two cars. It is lovely and quiet and peaceful.We had a brilliant time and would return.

Some of the decking needs replacing on the steps. A lot of the lodges are being renovated and the one next door had very noisy workmen there. This only happened two mornings.

Large and roomy, lots of space, comfy living area and bedrooms, everything we needed provided. Easy check in.

Bin was dirty on arrival, I had to turn it round as it made me feel sick. Fridge was a little grubby too and feel like the decking/outdoor seating could’ve done with a wipe over. No communication - emailed, messaged on booking.com and sent a text to the number provided requesting an early check-in, got no response to any of these.

Close to Ilfracombe and on main routes to other nearby towns the site is well maintained and has a pleasant layout. We found our lodge very clean, very well equipped and comfortable. It was very nice to be able to take our dogs and pleased that there was a designated dog walking area. The on-site shop was handy for casual purchases and there is a launderette but we did not need to use it.
