Edgewater W608 'Sea Forever'

I enjoyed the ocean view. Kitchen was up to date.

I have always enjoyed the Edgewater condos in the past but this was a different experience. This property is old and outdated in general. I can't remember ever leaving a negative review on any condo Ive rented in the past. The unit was unclean and made Motel 6 feel like a 5 star experience. Problems: A stain that looked like blood on living room curtain, ? mold growing all over headboard of bed, couch dirty/stained, sliding door not working, dripping faucet, multiple coats of paint on dirty baseboards. Broken wheels on "extra bed". The 2 extra "beds" are not even tolerable for a small child. Ive stayed in many places over the years. I felt outraged by the amount of money spent for what was provided. I spoke with the lady where keys were collected and she was very understanding. However the manager reimbursed $100. This felt more like an insult considering almost $5,000 spent for the week. She did offer to move to another unit but would have caused loss of vacation time and less bed space. The experience was ruined by the dirty and run down furniture. This place is well past needing to be updated. Needs to be gutted (all but kitchen) and start over new. The pictures on the website are not reflective of the shape things are in. A real disappointment. No one should be able to rent a unit based on pictures of new furniture and then provide what we had. Needless to say, we won't be back....hope this spares someone else
