1869 - Room Only Boutique Townhouse

Great location. Lovely room with thoughtful decoration. Bed was super comfy and we loved it. Dog friendly and even enjoyed fish and chips on the terrace.

Lovely room all as described. Very quiet generally to say we were central however lots of live music around in the town on Friday night when we arrived. Easy access, great to be able to park nearby. Amenities all within reach.

Nothing! Never visited Ambleside before, we loved it! Everything we wanted in our cosy room. I didn't see fluffy robes but never mind..

Excellent location in centre of Ambleside, up of the Main Street to ensure it’s still quiet. Free parking pass which takes stress away from finding somewhere for overnight . Clean and comfortable. The baskets with towels for the dogs at the entrance was a really clever idea and very helpful . We would stay again and recommend.

Minor aspects that could be easily sorted and wouldn’t stop us staying again - wardrobe has a strong smell of tomato soup ( only way I can describe it ) which really clung to the clothes I hung up . - hair dryer was broke and only blew cold air . Again not a huge issue if you’re not needing to use it .

It was a very warm day when we arrived it’s a very small thing and didn’t ruin our stay but worth mentioning that it would have been good if the window had been left open to circulate the air as it was so hot we were sweating getting changed. We left the window open whilst we popped out and when we came back it was fine as I said not a deal breaker just worth a me tip

Great location, lovely room with a lot of character and views, possibly the comfiest mattress and pillows ive ever slept on, great value aswell, only little downside is the seperate bathroom so have to go outside the room to use the bathroom but its a lovely bathroom aswell, thank you for your services✌️.

Clean, comfortable room. Excellent location.

Beautiful bathroom but caution needed with steps in the bathroom. Trip hazard , both steps the same pattern of tiles so if you don’t pay attention you can fall.
