There was a playing area for kids just opposite. The rooms were very clean

There are radiators in every room, but they don't seem to work and there is water clogging in the bathroom. It would have been nice if the host keeps a print out of how to heat the place and wifi details

Caravan was spacious, spotless and perfectly situated. Inside was everything you need for short or long stay.We were greeted with an array of essentials upon arrival, milk, tea coffee and sugar. Normally when you stay at places such as cottages or caravans, you are hunting round for cling film, tin foil, oil etc but our stay included all of these The caravan had x3 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 6 people and each with storage. It also had two bathrooms, one with a great/powerful shower, which is very unique for caravans. The central heating system worked great and helped us thaw out after some wild swimming in the lakes. The site itself is maintained to a very high standard, its idyllic, peaceful and tranquil, perfect for couples and families. In very close proximity (2min walk), is a pub doing great food and drink and the people there are lovely, pool table for the kids too.... Honestly we've stayed in many different cottages, caravans etc in various locations across Cumbria, Yorkshire Dales and Scotland and this will take some beating, value for money wise, it's the best we've had!
