Luxury Lodge w/ Hot Tub on 400-Acre Estate

On arrival we noticed the bathroom and toilet we very dusty, bits of hair everywhere, toothpaste on the walls, bins wernt emptied. There was also dust on the skirting up the stairs, window filthy, marks all over the walls. The hot water had no pressure at all. We got in touch straight away, to which was told someone would be out that night, they wernt. Got in touch the next day to be told they be over to clean, noone showed up, yet we were told they had, I took videos before and after, everything was the same, so I started getting ignored, nothing was sorted apart from the tv, we had issues with. It ruined our stay to say the least, and nothing was ever done to fix the most important issues. We were offered £100 compensation which was nothing for the amount we paid, and still haven't recieved it.

The property was in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course and was quiet and restful. The Barn1 was easily reached and had delightful, helpful staff who gave us a few ideas of where to visit.

Lack of anywhere to purchase a pint of milk within walking distance. Apart from that we could not fault this beautiful property and will definitely return.

This is my 3rd time staying at this property, we’ve enjoyed it so much that we always come back. The price for the entire house and parking is incredible. the location is beautiful, so peaceful. I couldn’t recommend this enough for groups or family’s. The owner is very helpful and very good at communicating.
