Island View 28 by Host Agents

The area and security complex is safe and beautiful, close to the beach and shops. You can hear the ocean and see Table mountain from the patio window. The garage parking is very nice and the unit is spacious. Linens are clean & fresh Nice big TV

One can see the house used to be pristine some years ago with quality finishes, but unfortunately has dilapidated somewhat. Maintenance and some organization is really needed (drooping curtains, kitchen panels, holes in the wall, water damage on walls & serious mold in cabinet under sink, loose toilet seat, TV cabling) Cleaning is also lacking: - Basic cleaning after each guest's stay needs to be better: dirty stove, oven, kitchen cabinets, dirty fridge, dirty glasses & crockery, dirty floors, old toothpaste splashes behind basins & on taps, dirty shower glass, crumbs on chairs (I personally cleaned some of these as I couldn't stay like that) - Also deep cleaning - cob webs and spiders in bedroom & garage, dirty garage, oven, dirty scatter pillows. Some amenities were provided like coffee and milk, dishwasher & laundry tablets, but the liquid soap holders in all the bathrooms were empty so I had to fill it with sunlight liquid. No salt & pepper or cooking basics or showergel. Perhaps if the price was half of what we paid, the above would not have mattered so much, but the nightly price is very steep for the quality you expect/get, especially since a hosting company Host Agents is involved with all this, we expected better.

The property was very modern and comfortable.

There is no generator, air-cons, or solar power, we were left with no electricity. We paid quite a good penny for this accommodation. So not having any other source of power was quite disappointing. The beds underneath were also not cleaned. The water would leak out of the main shower, because there was no shower door.

The toilet in the living room was out of order👎..would be a great plus, so everytime we must use the toilets downstairs .

Beautiful view of Table Mountain - comfortable living room.

Too many stairs for elderly people.

The host was friendly #Manie he was 👌 perfect. The whole place was wonderfull what we've seen on the pictures we got it . It's beautifully and very comfy will definitely recommend it to other people.
