Not recommended. Upon arrival, we were greeted not by hospitality, but by overflowing rubbish bins right at the entrance — we literally had to squeeze past them with our suitcases. When we asked the host to arrange regular waste collection, the response was, “Sure, for an extra fee.” They also insist on messaging you directly by email instead of through Booking.com — very convenient, of course. Check-in? We were allowed in an hour and a half late, waiting in the car with a child and luggage the whole time. In short, for £120 a night, a proper hotel is a far better option. Even Booking.com agreed the service quality deserved a negative review and issued £137 in compensation. The property manager, by the way, promised to return £30 as an apology — promised, but never did. So yes, either book a real hotel, or prepare to “enjoy” this kind of hospitality for £120 a night.

Staff member who I spoke to was very helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Only difficulty I had was navigating the key lock box as it was dark when we arrived.

Couldn’t get shower to work and no one answered my query on that. Bed very hard.
