Umberto 285 - Catania Centro

The apartment was perfect, the bed was big and very comfortable the pillows were nice and fluffy. There’s a coffee pot and also we loved having a dishwasher! The AC was very powerful and it was nice to escape the summer heat in the fresh and cool apartment! Everything was very clean and the host was extremely nice and accommodating. Across the street there is a cafe which was wonderful. There’s so many nice things on the same street and in the area! The price was amazing for all the amenities and for the perfect location. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Catania!

There was only one roll of toilet paper provided which obviously didn’t last us the whole five days and we ended up buying our own but it stay but such a small price to pay for such a great place and I’m sure if we had reached out to the owner about it he probably would’ve bought us more!

Where to start from…I wish the property looked like on the photos.It was extremely dirty,toilet seat was broken so everytime we sat on it was moving.The toilet cover was also broken.The shower head was rusty,the drain was full hair. The AC in the kitchen was not working so we had to open the windows but the apartment was on the ground zero I was afraid to leave it open during the night and we were sweating with 33 degrees outside. There were left overs sheet under the space next to the sink from the previous gussets and we had to look at this bag full of sheets every time we approached the microwave. The railings and the stairs were never clean ed,full of black dust. The dining table between the glass and the legs was full of crumbs. The remote controllers of the tv were grassy. The bedsheets had hair in it and the wardrobe door was hanging.The curtain railing was also hanging.I tried to reach customer support to assist me but with no success.I would demand some compensation,more over was my birthday vacation.

Was absolutely never been cleaned!
