9.0

Very comfortable apartment with everything you need. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Nice big TV Fully functioning kitchen Great central location Very quiet and peaceful at all times

The kitchen could do with a fee more basic utensils The shower water temperature was not working but the host was extremely responsive and got it fixed within the day.

"Amazing property highly recommend."

9.0

I found the property beautifully decorated, with a great layout and meticulous furnishings. It truly is a well-curated property that I can't recommend enough.

I have two minor concerns about the property. First, the shower didn't allow me to adjust the temperature of the hot water. It seemed that the mixing valve was broken, resulting in very hot water with no way to cool it down. Secondly, the extractor fan in the bathroom was quite dusty. This is a minor issue, especially since the rest of the property was very clean. I wanted to mention it as it would be a simple fix.

"Homely, full of light, comfortable and spacious."

9.0

I really felt at home here and I totally recommend it for longer stays. The sofa and house, generally, was really comfortable and homely, with a big table and spacious areas. The bed was comfy and had a lot of pillows (which I love!). Good lighting (apart from the bathroom which could do with a light over the mirror), I particularly loved the one in the kitchen area. A lot of light and windows too (which I love). Kitchen was quite well equipped and had a full array of utensils (but funnily enough no scissors). However, the crockery and cutlery would be a bit tight for 4 people, as there's just 4 of each (only 3 chairs though). Having a large fridge-freezer and plenty of cupboard space was great. Convenient location (although being up a hill is a bit of a downside). Very quiet, even though it's very central, as it faces the back of the property, with nice views. I'd definitely love to come back.

The reason I haven't given it 10 points is because there were a few things that need attention, apart from the poor job with the lino in the bathroom — it really looked as if an 8-year-old fitted it! One of the fixings in the shower is really tight (and probably about to break), so it's hard to control the temperature. It would also be nice to have the towel rail on a separate control, so to be able to dry the towels when the general heating is not needed. It'd actually help with the musty smell in the bathroom, due also in part to the not-so-good extractor fan. The freezer door is broken so you have to be careful when opening it so not to get hurt. A wiping cloth would have been handy. Black out curtains are very much needed as too much light filters through in the morning. It's also a shame that the blinds are a bit too big as it wrecks the walls if you want to use them. Finally, the TV is great and has all the streaming services. Unfortunately, it does not have "normal" live TV, which can additionally become more of a nuisance if the WiFi stops working. However, all these things could be easily fixed and would earn the place a well deserved 10 points. I have taken the time to list them all as I believe the property's management care enough to want to know so to be able to do something about it :)

"Very clean, modern and comfortable apartment, even nicer in reality then on photos. Great location."

Great location in the center of Brighton, walking distance to key spots. Big bonus - paid TV channels available (i.e. Netflix).
