No. 4 Sunny Lodge By The Sea

This chalet was perfect for our weekend stay. It was really well equipped with an added bonus of an air fryer! The beds were comfy, the sofa bed was okay. Chalet was cleaned throughout and the location was perfect with an amazing view of the sunset! The rooms have a little space but it's expected in chalets of this size. Bunk beds were great, fresh bedding on all beds. Host has been lovely over messages, we will return again!

The double bed was very comfortable as were the pillows

Nowhere to put clothes, especially for hanging anything. Fortunately there was a coat stand where we were able to hang my son's suit for his graduation. All other clothes had to be placed on a chair and the back of it. We used radiators to place other clothes as they were unable to fit anywhere else. The bedrooms were extremely small and only had minimal drawer space. The double bed was against a wall. The other bedroom with bunk beds was extremely small. You could not walk into bedrooms or bathroom if someone was in the kitchen without them moving out of the way. The table had to be moved around so we could sit at it and was difficult to put up. The cushions on the dining chairs were full of hairs and had stains on them. There were hairs all over the floor, like dogs hairs or someone had had a hair cut. There were extremely long hairs all over the place. The blind in the main bedroom would not stay when pulled up and my husband woke one night to find it hanging off. The freezer box in the fridge was useless. Insufficient hanging space in the bathroom for 4 towels.

Location was what we needed.

There was a festival on that we were not told about and was a bit noisy. People in reception were not very friendly

The view from the chalet was brilliant, everything we needed was there, maybe provide another duvet for the sofa bed.

Nothing not to like

The shower was like taking my life in my own hands, either scorching hot or freezing cold

Property was clean and had everything we needed.

It was cold but easily rectified with the electric heaters provided. Nowhere to plug the television in the bedroom.

The place is extremely well equipped and comfortable and the hosts communication was excellent

As it's says on the tin. Fully equipped Lodge by the sea. Great sea views on a caravan park with good facilities for the family.

Just marketing 'nit picking'. But no WIFI in the lodge itself but there is WiFi in the public areas of the caravan site. The pool isn't private it's shared with the rest of the site and is a couple of quid to use. So hey no big deal. And lastly there were 3 of us so it was fine but I'm guessing you possibly struggle for space if you had any more people in there in my humble opinion.
