Comfortable place,

Toilet to low and seat loose,no hand soaps etc and a book to show how to use things need blinds in bedroom

Nice peaceful location. secluded but only about 5 min drive to town. Had comfortable beds and enough room. Even had washing machine and dishwasher which was a nice surprise as chalets usually don't have those. Lovely hosts who despite living miles away respond fast to message and got out an emergency plumber as soon as we needed when the loo stopped flushing due to the ball inside being stuck. Plus did everything they could to accommodate us and pets.

Shame there was no tea , coffee or sugar would of been a nice touch but I usually bring it anyway. However I couldn't find any hand soap either so used my shower gel until we bought some. Perhaps the cleaner just forgot. The electric meter. But at least it saves people wasting energy and water.

We had a great stay here. The cottage is well laid out, clean and tidy and easy to access and the communication with the host prior to our arrival was great! This is a lovely part of the world, it's a shame we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Good location, nicely decorated

Everything else. It smelt damp, there was mouse dropping all over the work top, sofa and corners of every room, every room was full of cobwebs and spiders, the bed was rock hard and the duvet was ripped, the bottom bunk had no sheet on it. The toilet brush had faeces on it. The least I thought could have been done was to of had the electric meter on so the fridge was cold. But it was warm and smelt.. the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes too. My poor physically disabled 4 year old had to crawl around on that dirty floor that’s his only way of getting around. My 11 year old was hoovering as soon as we got there to make it cleaner but the hoover was full.

Very clean and well presented, and the owner and agent were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Having to pay for the electric via a slot meter, a bit of a hidden charge but not overly expensive.

The key code had changed, I rang the owner and he assisted me with the key code within minutes.

Furnished absolutely lovely, comfy sofa, table and chairs, great size TV and good equipped kitchen.

Sadly the smell particularly in the lounge, like drains or damp, had to go buy extra air freshener and make sure to open the windows and door when in the chalet. Cleaning was a little poor, had to wipe the surfaces in the kitchen when we got there and felt like hard floors needed a bit better cleaning. Tried to vacuum during the week, but was very poor, hardly had any suction. No airer to dry any towels or beachwear/washing. Children didn’t find the bunk beds very comfortable and our duvet was so thin we were cold one night. Holes/dips in main floor under floor coverings ie the underneath woodwork, may need some repair ?.
