By the seaside

The bed was so comfy I could have slept all day.

Lovely large clean double room with very comfortable bed. Within driving or walking distance of shops, cafes, beach and central Margate (5 min drive/15 min walk to Margate park run). Nice to have kettle in the room - plenty of teabags/coffee etc. Shared bathroom, but it was always available. Easy self-service check-in. Plenty of parking in the road.

Perfect for what I needed. Very easy check in and lovely clean room. Highly recommend

There needed to be some spare toilet roll available as not much left on the roll!

Varmvatten saknades helt i handfat och dusch en av mina tre övernattningar. Ingen förklaring lämnades.

Was quite surprised at the standard of cleaning as reviews said it was great but outside of the bedroom it was more of a man’s pad and I wouldn’t say great for females. Bathroom needed a good scrub, shower wasn’t the cleanest. One of the towels in my bedroom didn’t smell fresh at all. Tea/coffee making facilities were very dusty. Downstairs kitchen smelt of old food.

A very comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. We got lucky that there was no other guest (that we saw) to have to share the bathroom with. Abi, via text, was very friendly and prompt to answer questions as we checked in.

A list of tiny things that could make it better: The bathroom sink tap water pressure I'm sure could be improved, along with a new tap that gives more space underneath for hands. Never actually met Abi although there were certainly signs that she was at home. Check-in was unguided apart from the key box code. Had to guess the set-up of the house, and had to write a message to the host. Coffee and Tea in room weren't restocked daily. We probably could have asked..oh well.
