4 Bed - Beach Cottage

The location was great for access to the coastal path but we hadn’t realised that it was attached to the Cary Arms which meant that in the ground floor and first floor bedrooms those were noisy and those sleeping were disturbed very late & very early in the morning even with windows closed.

We arrive after dark and the access was difficult to find as we hadn’t appreciated the proximity to the Cary Arms or the parking arrangements which meant we could not park permanently directly outside the property and it was serviced parking. The ground floor toilet shower room was dirty so we raised it and it was cleaned during our first day. There was no bedside lamp in the twin bedded bedroom, no accessible socket so needs an extension lead & lamp. Kitchen not equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery for 4 people for breakfast and dinner let alone 8 that the property is suppose to accommodate. No Microwaveable containers, casseroles of serving dishes provided, not really equipped for cooking even although we’d brought alot of food pre-prepared with us.

The cottage is stunning and the views are amazing. The welcome gifts are lovely as was the coffee.

We were self catering in the cottage but our hosts left us a beautiful hamper with cereals, snacks, butter, bread, selection of preserves, milk,water and tea and coffee, excellent!

Couldn't fault the property. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful.

Lovely property in an incredible location, couldn’t have asked for anything more. All of the staff were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend.
