Took time to find the owner and property, which was not identifiable on site. No instructions via Booking.com on how to find the owner. Had to search internet for property on other sites where instructions are noted. The site he uses is associated with booking and is the phone number link listed on booking; but they provide no help at all. He will be found sitting in the driveway in a black car 50 metres from the entrance to the villa complex, in 2026 The kitchen is in a poor useless state, no hot water water to wash dishes etc, had to boil kettle. Grotty area. No provision of basic tea or coffee or milk, this in an area with poor access to convenience stores Sofas very uncomfortable and tired. This guy needs to pick up his game and sort his admin out

房源內很髒，並沒有人清理，而且住宿設備顯示有電視，但是無法使用，詢問房東告知我們只能把那個當螢幕，在接近零度的晚上，蓮蓬頭是塑膠管，因為管線的配置問題，導致熱水讓蓮蓬頭破裂，無法正常使用浴室設備，即時告知房東並未理會，實在是非常失望的體驗

広さや落ち着く感じが気に入りました。ログハウス風の内装も良かったです。リビングが気に入りました。とてもリラックスできました。ゆっくりお風呂も浸かれば良かったのですが黒川温泉を利用しました。

ソファーのスプリングがゴツゴツしてました。お客様のお子さんがイタズラして壊したのかと思いました。 あとコーヒーなどの飲み物のサービスが欲しかったです。

Pros: Nice tatami bedrooms, warm Toto toilet and washing machine.

I write this honest assessment as a heads up for future travelers. My stay was in December. Cons: Google Maps could not locate the property. Difficult 19 minute up-hill walk with luggage, inconvenient location, no stores and only one restaurant within 25-30 minute walk. There are 2 TV’s but not connected to any network and, couldn’t get the DVD player to work (no instructions provided). The “kitchen” is run down/not clean and, there is no complimentary coffee or tea. The shower/onsen is very cold with an unpleasant smell. No toothbrush provided; this is unheard of in Japan as EVERY accommodation provides these. It may seem like a small thing but very inconvenient when you don’t have one! NO hot running water in the kitchen or bathroom! The only hot water is to fill the onsen. The home is neglected and unpleasant. The tatami bedding is stained and sofas are lumpy. 4pm check-in is very late, with no exceptions. I could not get taxi service in this remote area and unfortunately, the owner could not help me to contact one. Bus stop is 5 minutes away but only runs to town at 10:30am, 1pm & 3pm daily. To top things off the power went out because too many appliances were in use.

There were all facilities we needed. I love private onsen room even though it was a bit cold. The owner is very kind. It was near Kurokawa onsen so we could enjoy the light-up

The location was a bit hard to find. It would be great if the owner share us the photo of the exterior. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Fully equipped and everything in good condition. The area is very quiet, so good sleep should be guaranteed if you like sleeping on tatami (we do). Warm welcome by the host.

Nothing. Note: it’s out of the main village but can still be reached on foot (we came by bus).

A warm cozy logged-like house. Good sraying experience. Helpful host.

Relatively long walking distance to Kurokawa Onsen. Carrying heavy baggages would be inconvenient.

Beautiful house in very quiet neighbourhood with stone bath.

I wish there were yuk areas to feel more cozy and home.
