360 Rainforest

Perfect position, 5 minutes walk to Sinharaja rainforest, situated on a river. Tent experience is amazing. The staff is nice and super kind, special thanks to Lakshan for helping us organize excursions and getting us dinner.

I really love the staff! They are so kind and gentle. They help you with every kind of issue you might have. The location is wonderful as the breakfast!

Maybe they can improve a bit the cleaness of the room

A special place right at the entrance to the rainforest. The pool is fantastic, the huts are beautiful, the beds very comfortable, all equipped with mosquito nets. The grounds are very lovingly designed with lots of plants and very well maintained. The staff are totally courteous, super nice and friendly and always ready to help. They fetched extra coconuts from the tree for our children. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We were recommended a very interesting tour into the rainforest, which fully fulfilled our expectations. Unfortunately, the music from the neighbouring accommodation was very annoying, especially at weekends. But that's not the fault of the owners. A clear recommendation!

La localización es genial y el lugar tiene mucho encanto, las casas estaban bien y eran espaciosas aunque se podrían reparar algunas cosas. El personal es atento y nos ayudó aunque a veces la comunicación no fue sencilla. La comida nos pareció muy buena.

Se echa de menos que haya una persona presente en la recepción y que fuesen un poco mas resolutivos.

The chalet and pool were nice and clean. The restaurant was very basic, though they mentioned it was due to ongoing renovations. There was no menu available, but the prices for Sri Lankan food were reasonable. The property is located about 100 meters from the forest entrance, where you can find a local guide—expect to pay around 5,000 LKR for a 4-hour tour, plus the entrance fee.

It’s about 30 minutes from Deniyaya by tuk-tuk, costing at least 2,000 LKR one way. The price of the room was a bit overpriced for the quality of the services provided in general. There were three men working there—while they were polite, as a solo female traveler I would have felt more comfortable if at least one female staff member had been present. I also would have appreciated clearer communication on average tour prices and durations, rather than just being handed local contact numbers. It also would’ve helped if they had arranged the tuk-tuk more reliably for our early morning departure—thankfully, we didn’t miss the bus.
