Booking was showed as 35000 but at the property owner said you have to pay 38500. I don’t know the reason and neither did he, but I had to pay the price which owner said

We had a one night stop-over here and loved it. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and the food was delicious and great value. My son went on the early morning rainforest trek and saw lots of animals, the guide was very knowledgeable and thei hike ended with a swim. The tents were comfortable with amazing views and sounds. I would definitely stay here again.

Being in the rainforest and in nature was a very good experience. You wake up to the sounds of birds and can see many different species. The nature itself is amazingly green. Sinharaja itself is very beautiful. There are a few activities in the area, like hiking to a waterfall or bird watching. You can also visit the tea factory nearby. also, just chilling in the room is also very nice. the wood houses were clean. The food was also very tasty. the staff were friendly.

just be aware that you need to be picked up at a bridge to go to the place as it is in the forest area and it is a rocky road. it was nice for me, I write this only as a warning 🙂

The staff were very helpful and the setting is lovely - right next to the National Park entrance. Also our guide for the 5 waterfalls hike was great. We enjoyed our stay. Recommend if you want to be in a real forest setting close to the park entrance.

We were unlucky to have a large Sri Lankan family gathering going on and the music and noise went on all night!! A shame in such a tranquil place. But the 2nd evening they were gone and we could appreciate the amazing jungle experience. The tents were very basic, but in fact they work really well. Very spacious, with a large attached bathroom. The insects were much less of a problem than we expected! The camp itself is much smaller than we expected, and maybe not as remote - there are several other hotels and guest houses nearby.. But the tents have a great location overlooking the river and surrounded by the noise of the jungle.

Waking up in the jungle was incredible. The lodge is well located for a trek into Sinharaja rainforest. Our guide was very knowledgeable, the trek is not something to miss!

There's was nothing not to like.

The owner is an amazing man. The staff is very friendly, polite and helped us a lot with advices and specific requests. Rooms are clean, beds large and comfortable. Some rooms have a jungle view. The morning view is exceptional. Good wi-fi coverage. A transfer is available for additional payment. The meal was traditional, but served as in restaurant. Brilliant quality and clean kitchen. Highly recommended.
