57 Bee OLD TOWN Lagos - Character House near Beach & Marina

The design of the space was absolutely darling — fresh, modern, and full of charm. Staying in Old Town Lagos made it even more special. The location was perfect: close enough to walk to the town center, restaurants, and the marina, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved that it was only about a mile to two stunning beaches. The washing machine was a huge bonus, and I even used ChatGPT to help me figure out the settings! I also absolutely loved the bathtub — it looked so inviting, and although we didn’t have time to use it, hopefully we will in the future. The bathrobes were such a lovely touch and made the experience feel even more special, like a boutique hotel stay. The welcome treats were another highlight — delicious pastries, fresh bread with olive oil, and a bottle of wine for a cozy evening in.

The only thing I didn’t love was the staircase. While it fit beautifully with the aesthetic, it felt a bit unsteady and took some care to navigate. The host’s note about not carrying luggage upstairs made perfect sense once we arrived.

De locatie was super, lekker dichtbij het centrum en de haven. Welkom was attent met een lekker flesje rose en pastel de natas.

Jammer dat er tekort warm water is om het bad mee vol te laten lopen.

Nothing that I can think of!

Secteur très calme et emplacement à proximité des attractions (entre le centre historique et la marina de Lagos). Belles petites attention de l’hôte laissée à notre disposition (pastel de nata, pain, vin).

Odeur très prononcée de parfum en entrant, le manque de fenêtre ne permet pas d’aérer et difficile de faire sécher les vêtements. L’escalier pour accéder à la chambre est très étroit, difficile pour quelqu’un avec une mobilité réduite.

Excellent location for exploring Lagos and the it's nearby coastline. The decor created a cosy atmosphere, the amenities were excellent and the generous provisions from the host added to the welcome feeling.

Accueil chaleureux. Délicates intentions de la part d'Eva (pain, confitures, vin...).Logement idéalement situé, très joliment décoré, très propre. Literie au top ! Un tout petit bémol, logement un peu sombre.

Lo pasamos de maravilla. La casa es una pequeña joya, equipada con todas las comodidades y con atención al detalle y a la calidad. La cama king size era súper cómoda. La ubicación es muy céntrica, entre el casco antiguo y el puerto. No nos faltó de nada. ¡Muchas gracias, Eva! ¡Volveremos encantados!
