"Not worth the hassle of booking and dealing with the rental agent."

The location of the property is great. It has a wonderful view of the ocean, a nice big balcony, and its a short walk onto the beach. There is also a wonderful coffee shop / pizza restaurant right behind the complex. The apartment is true to the pictures but is in desperate need of a deep clean.

Key collection: We collected the keys from a garage as you come into town. We had to drive into Ballito town by 9.30am to drop keys off when we left. It was out of our way and the coordination of keys is not convenient for guests. Paying for the accommodation: This property is listed on Booking.com - we use this service to make booking and planning a trip easy. We were not allowed to make payment for this property via booking.com and were met with an onslaught of emails, whatsapp messages and direct messages on platform to pay the money directly into their account and that no funds would be taken via booking.com. We were also sent spam emails and whatsapps about rules, regulations, key collection, etc. Booking with this 'holiday accommodation rental agent' is not convenient at all for the traveller and you will have to jump through a lot of hoops to actually secure your booking. Including filling out digital indemnity forms, sending photos of your ID documents - there was a point where we considered that this might be a scam listing. The unit is not set up for loadshedding at all. We were aware that there is no inverter, however the WIFI does not work during load shedding and there is only 1 rechargable light in the entire unit. 1 light for a 2 bedroom, large holiday home is not acceptable.
