"Check in late"

Loved the location as wanted to be near a friend.

Wouldn't take dog. No knowledge of size or type. Very basic. Quilt very thin. Had to put car blanket and towel on bed to be warm enough. Check in at 5pm late. Most people have travelled but we'd travelled 450miles which had taken over 8 hours. 3pm check in reasonable. You just want to put luggage in house/room have a cuppa and go out. Fresh milk would be nice.

Very clean and you have everything you need at the property, only few minutes drive to supermarket.

The duve was a bit small and not warm enough.

The house was absolutely perfect, really clean and smelt lovely , location was excellent. I fully recommend this little gem and at a good price .

A well-appointed self-catering cottage in a great location in the centre of the village; good value for money

The email giving us the key code came mid-afternoon, though before the check-in time - but, 5 pm as the check-in time is unusually and inconveniently late

"Lovely property to enable you to explore Cumbria"

Great location, had everything we needed, good value for money

Property looks a little tired and dated. Socket in the dressing room loose and dangerous. Kettle had limescale and a cobweb in the bathroom that had obviously been there for some time

Everything needed for self catering was present. Very Happy.

Coul not lock the keys away on leaving because the clear button was stuck.Maybe some clearer instructions were needed.

"Wonderful two person short stay"

A clean and comfortable cottage with a well equipped kitchen. Ideal short stay for two people. Great location to explore St Bees and surrounding area. We enjoyed a lovely day on the beach with a cliff top walk. Priory is a must see not only for the architecture but to read the local history. Pubs offered a good food and drink experience. And surrounding countryside offered wonderful walking for example a circular walk around Ennerdale Water.

"Superb"

Very good quality and range of kitchen equipment Bed comfortable

Parking wasn't good, luckily free parking at train station just lower down the street was good
