Breakfast & close proximity to beach.

We booked 2 nights in 7 bells prior to our cruise. Location was excellent for the cruise port. For the second night we were finally given a room in 7 bells. This was much nicer, room was excellent, bathroom really nice. Breakfast on the terrace was very welcome. We were also able to have drinks on the terrace at night. If we were here for both nights the review would have been excellent, however I have provided ratings based on the first night in Palazzo Alibrandi.

For the first night we were told they had overbooked and were moving us to there other hotel - Palazzo Alibrandi. We were told this was an upgrade. It wasn't. Room was very basic, very dated. Not what we had booked at all. We were really disappointed in this room but managed to get transferred to 7 bells for the second night. Much better. But as we had paid for 2 nights in 7 bells months in advance we were not happy that we were moved to their other location 2 days before arrival.

Fue una sola noche pero nos gustó mucho el lugar, el staff super amables, nos ayudaron con todo. El desayuno fue delicioso, nos encantó haber incluido el desayuno.

El baño tenía un mal olor como de la tubería y una de las camas el colchón no era tan cómodo, quizás ya está muy viejo.

IMPORTANTE - ESTA AVALIAÇÃO E COMENTÁRIO É SOBRE O PALAZZO ALIBRANDI (3 estrelas) E NÃO SOBRE 7 BELL´S (4 estrelas) que era o que inicialmente tinha reservado. O proprietário no dia anterior alterou o local da estadia. O pequeno almoço muitíssimo pobre em termos de variedade, não tinha nenhuma fruta, o pão só tinha uma variedade, a torradeira para torrar o pão é de fraca qualidade e só tinha um tipo de sumo que nem não era natural. Doces só embalados.

La ubicación

Very friendly hosts, and helpful. The place was clean and quiet. Beautiful balcony outside where you can sit down and enjoy a nice cappuccino and have an overlooking on the area where you are staying. Many restaurants nearby at walking distance, and the food is excellent, you can eat like the locals.

They are hard to reach if you are using the booking.com chat. The easiest way to get in contact with someone is through WhatsApp, but they have to contact you first. You have to budget a little more than what you paid for the hotel. I didn't know we had to pay Italian taxes in extra. That is an extra 3 euros per person, per night. Breakfast, if not included in your package, is an extra 8 euros per person per day. And shuttle to the ship is an extra 10 euros par person. We were a group of 4, so we needed 2 rooms, but they said there was a glitch in their system that made them to overbooked the place. So, 1 couple had to be transferred to a nearby hotel that was substandard, and they weren't very happy with their stay.

Location

Once we got in everything was OK. Entering the building the first time was difficult as main front door was closed and until we checked in we didn't have a code. We where later arriving than planned as our flight was delayed
