Town and Country Getaway 3BR 3BA, 20 min FAMU FSU

I love the quietness.

I didn't like that there weren't any curtains or shades on the back windows.

The location and street was very quiet and seemed very safe.

The open spaces

When we arrived we couldn’t get in the door. It was a tricky lock which they didn’t inform us about, I called and the owner was very rude when I told her it shouldn’t be this hard to get in and she said “well that’s how it is” and said she would have her husband to call and explain how to unlock the door, which we never got that call. It took us about 35-40 minutes to keep trying and trying to get in and we finally was able to get in, but once in and we wanted to leave, we couldn’t figure out how to lock the door back so we left it unlocked and put our personal and valuable belongings back in our vehicle and it was after 8pm and very very dark because there is nothing but woods surrounding the area. The back door had a paragraph of directions taped to the door explaining how to open and close it which were not good directions so we didn’t even utilize the back door which was a bummer because it was a nice sitting area on the back porch. There was another guest on the other side of the house that we had to share the laundry with so we never used the laundry unit. We were in town for family stuff so we were too busy to call and complain about stuff at the time but on check out day, which was Sunday at 11:00, the owner pulled up to the house EXACTLY at 11:00 am while we were packing our things inside our vehicles and with a very rude attitude, she asks how long is it gonna take you all to be out. We said give us 5 minutes, and to be fair, it did take us 13 minutes because we were in town for a baby shower and we had alot of stuff to transfer from the house to our cars because we didn’t feel safe leaving our stuff in the car outside overnight.

The unit was very spacious.

The thermostat was locked and we did not have the code to unlock it. We did not have the ability to adjust it. It was hot in the unit all night. Most rooms had a ceiling fan, but low speeds.

The space was spacious and exactly as advertised, the place was clean and tidy with no ridiculous cleaning procedures to follow on departure. Was close to everything we needed!
