Host & Stay - The Annexe @ The Old Brewery

Richmond is lovely and the property is well positioned for the waterfalls and walks into town and surrounding areas. Large living/dining area great for families.

The annexe is accessed via a long pathway from the road, nestled within other properties (details only given 6 hrs prior to arrival). Neighbours pounced on our arrival telling us where we couldn't park, not even allowing us to unload! The property is very staged, although the pictures looked lovely some elements need attention and more detail given to the cleaning and practical elements (especially in the kitchen as no tongs, grill handle, oven gloves and only one tea towel). The outside area was not secure for our dog as others can access for the bins and it's generally unkept (especially the courtyard off one of the bedrooms) Unfortunately this has all been said by others who have stayed but clearly no changes have been made. We feedback to Host & Stay on the first day of arrival, although they were quick to respond and raise a complaint on our behalf as well as offering a 20% discount off our next stay matters were left unresolved.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Every detail had been thoughtfully arranged, and we truly felt cared for throughout our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property, facilities and location were all amazing. It was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend.

The annexe was very comfortable plenty of facilities, my elderly parents found the stairs to the upper floor difficult as no rail. The rooms were very clean but the beams and sky lights were covered in dust and cobwebs.

The property was good, laking hand wash and washing up facilities also the beds are not comfortable feel as though this is a party house as it had a strong stale smell

The space was good. The number of bathrooms was good

The approach to the property was dangerous, smelly rat infested, very slippy, and neglected. Trying to walk past mountains of rubbish down a long dark walkway to the front door isn't good at all. Fallen apples everywhere were very dangerous. The pots and pans were dirty, the oven was disgusting, and no christmas decorations.

Lovely and spacious for a family gathering

Outside space was covered with rotten apples from the tree so made it a little tricky to walk through the garden. Walkway to the property was very dark.

Location was excellent for walks into town and the riverside walk. Bedrooms were good and the beds were comfortable. Very good for 6 people to stay in comfort.

The only real comment was the lack of a dishwasher in the kitchen.
