105 on Sarel Cilliers

I did not stay at 105 Sarel Cilliers, but was relocated to another property: 103 De Beersweg, Strand Noord.

I did not stay at 105 Sarel Cilliers, but was relocated to another property: 103 De Beersweg, Strand Noord. Ther are no windows that can open for fresh air, and the fan does not make the air fresh. It is in the middel of summer and the very thick duvet as well as pillows are very very synthetic, which causes a lot of discomfort. The entrance gate unlocks with a coded box on the outside of the gate. Opening it from the inside is actualy dangerous, as it starts moving as soon as you have punched the code through the vertical bars of the gate. The toilet leaks at the back.

A lovely apartment, everything we needed. Had a nice walk to the beach! Very helpful an friendly host as well.

Central to where I needed to be. Host very friendly and helpful.

Compared to similar properties, not great value. Bathroom cleaning needs attention. Bed was super high and chunky, mattress is very soft - but my personal preference is something firmer. Bedding is cheap polyester. The gates and sliding doors were challenging to open or close, but nothing a bit of Q20 probably couldn't fix. Full trash bins right outside flat without lid. Flat next door TV was super loud.
