"A beautiful place to unwind and recharge your batteries 😊"

The peace and quiet. Spectacular location. Loved walking across the field to Leyburn and back. Magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset. Great watching the bats and jackdaws in the evening. Accommodation was top drawer; absolutely superb. Spotless and beautifully furnished. Very comfy bed, excellent shower, great stereo system, and welcome box of goodies was a very nice touch.

Nothing. It was exceptional. Would love to come back. We did, however, get the vibes that we wouldn’t be welcome again? We did make the mistake of inviting a couple of friends over with their dog. In retrospective this was a bad move on our part. However, despite apologising for the oversight, we felt this upset the dynamics. Have stayed in Leyburn over 20 years. This was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in, but not sure we’d revisit the Byre, for this reason alone.

"Tranquillity!"

Suzanne and Paul were wonderful hosts. The property was gorgeous and had everything you need, even a welcome pack included with milk, bread and treats. Location was fab, and some beautiful falls in the local area to explore.

"Superb"

What a beautiful place to stay. The Byre is very well equipped for a break away. Incredibly clean and comfortable. Stunning views from inside and the patio, which is a great place to sit and have a drink and watch the sunset. Sussane is really friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The lovely touch of leaving a box of goodies was a very nice touch. I'm already looking forward to going back.

"Beautiful place with amazing hosts"

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, the place was beautiful and the location was perfect. There was a little welcome pack with crisps, cookies, bread and milk which was a lovely surprise. We had such an amazing time and would definitely book this place again.

"I would recommend this place"

It was lovely to stay at the Byre. There were so many waterfalls closely, and the hosts were very friendly ! I would recommend this place, and we will be back for sure :)

"Great place to stay"

Excellent location for exploring and walking in the Yorkshire Dales. Lovely views from the property. Quiet and comfortable accommodation and very friendly and welcoming host. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The Wagon Wheels were a lovely surprise !
