Due to the great reviews and the proximity to the sailing marina, we booked this accommodation for our first night in Guadeloupe. Communication beforehand was normal. One day prior, we were asked what time we would roughly arrive. We landed at 8:00 PM and gave the B&B address to the taxi driver. About 200 meters before arrival, I received a call from the accommodation informing us that they were overbooked. They claimed Booking.com had made a double booking and that there was no room for us. At that point, I had already paid. This was followed by endless discussions in French (they supposedly did not speak any English). I was told that the accommodation could not see any mistake on their side and that it was allegedly Booking.com’s fault. Fortunately, the taxi driver was kind enough to drive us from hotel to hotel to find a new place, which ended up costing us twice as much. When it came to getting a refund, there were again hours of discussion until I mentioned involving the police. Suddenly, a refund became possible. If there truly was an overbooking, I would have expected to be informed in advance and offered an alternative accommodation, as well as an immediate refund. My conclusion: a lot of arguments, little professionalism, and poor organization. I am also not entirely sure whether this may even have been intentional. Please be cautious with this accommodation. La proximité à pied de la plage de la Datcha.

- route passante, très mauvaise insonorisation. - climatisation réglée en automatique la nuit alors qu'il serait appréciable de climatiser l'appartement en journée d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de terrasse extérieure. - Draps usagés et tachés - les ustensiles de cuisine sont à changer (poêle et casseroles abîmées) - absence d'eau et les bouteilles mises à disposition ne permettent pas de se doucher. - bouteilles lourdes et peu pratiques d'utilisation. - communication minimaliste sur la localisation exacte.

La disponibilité de l'hôte qui a vraiment mis tout en œuvre pour que je récupère les clés dans de bonnes conditions. Merci infiniment.

La proximité à de belles plages.

L'emplacement physique du logement n'est pas le même que sur Google map donnant une fausse impression sur l'apparence du lieu. Emplacement bruyant car très près d'une route passante. Air climatisé fonctionne avec un minuteur. Disponible entre 19h et 8h00am. Pas de balcon contrairement à ce que Google map pointe lorsqu'on fait une recherche pour bella visa house 971.
