The owner is welcoming, helpfuk and friendly. He takes time for you and give you all the information needed. The house is basic with all the facilities to cook and wash your clothes. It's a real experience stay in a Mauritian house, in a mauritian environment/ street. Steve receives you like family.

The barking of the dogs at night, bring ear plug if needed. There are a lot of dogs in Mauritius. It' s not that I didn't like but there is nothing luxuary. If the location is suitable for you its a nice stay.

Host was very friendly & the place is well equipped. It’s good value for money and a very authentic Mauritian experience.

There aren’t many restaurants nearby but Steve gave us a long list of recommendations & a taxi number so that was all good in the end.

We can recommend to stay here - you can really feel that the host, Steve, put a lot of thought, effort and heart into this apartment, and that he cares about the wellbeing of his guests. It is very clean and super well equipped (including a hair dryer, noodles and some breakfast essentials to use). Thank you, Steve, for the warm welcome, we had a wonderful stay!

it is not walking distance to the city but a great place for anyone traveling by car and the neighborhood and Steve give you some insights into local life as this is not a touristic place.
