Balor 1 - Hot Tub-Perth-Pets

The hot tub and out door area was lovely. The location of the lodge is nice and is close to lots of different shops, food places etc.

Lack of communication from the hosts. Level of cleanliness wasn’t great - glasses in the cupboard were filthy. Lack of basics like tea, coffee, cleaning products - We had to go and buy these things from Aldi. Places we have stayed in before have these provided. Shower was really poor. We wanted to arrange late check out as on arrival we saw in the guide book this was an option - still waiting on a response from the owner: We had issues with the WiFi- still waiting on a response from the owner. All of the reviews had been great and I was definitely expecting something different.

All of it it was a really good place to go .. very relaxing .. pretty to look at .. value for money .

Everything needed in lodge. Very private Hot Tub with easy access. Different seating areas. Secluded area but very close to amenities if needed. Red Squirrel came to visit.

Sofa and Mattress very soft but did not spoil stay.

This is the second time within 6 weeks we have stayed in the Balou log cabin. If you are looking for a few days away to recharge your batteries this is the place for you. Added bonus the hot tub and welcomes dogs very peaceful and relaxing.
