Villa Tauro 31

Lovely location. Very quiet. Really spacious villa. Comfortable beds. Well equipped bathrooms. Great touches - lots of loo roll, soaps in the bathroom, dishwasher tablets, tea towels. Outside space lovely. Ricardo who met us to hand over keys was charming, spoke excellent English, very helpful, very quick to respond to messages. Huge bonus was a day at the Amadores beach club nearby - such a brilliant place, fabulous staff. Definitely recommend it - food and drink delicious and very reasonable.

Pool not huge but perfect for cooling off in otherwise couldn’t fault it!

the place was very large indeed and the location was so peaceful and quiet. if you want the sun and relaxation then look no where else this is perfect.

This is no criticism but just polite recommendation that would improve things for guests so please do not be offended because we all absolutely loved this place. The upstairs bedroom door we had to leave open all the time as it was badly damaged and scratched and the handles coming of the door with it being closed by previous use. the runners were clearly broken. this did not bother us as the upstairs was very private so it did not affect us. the private balcony and very large shower room were superb. there was a small chip on the kitchen worktop but did not affect anything for us. the toilet on the middle floor by the kitchen had no handle on the inside so you could not lock the door. Again this was no issue really as there are toilets in every bedroom. same with a toilet on the ground floor door very stiff and didn't slide properly. The barbecue was superb but if it is possible to do then some lighting so you can see what your cooking would be good as it was very dark and unable to see your food to see how well it was cooking. we had to use our phone torch to try and judge how well things were being cooked. the pool was superb and we did wonder whether we should have had it heated as it was October. Absolutely no need as the pool was perfectly warm. The downstairs area with the table tennis area was huge with great big sofas and tv area but we did not use this area at all as it was so big and comfortable by the pool area we spent all our time outdoors here. This is probably the best property I have ever stayed at and we have stayed in lots of properties in different countries. Location was fantastic. Close to all beaches restaurants etc. The pictures don't do the property justice it is very spacious and well decorated. Hosts were easily contactable. Nice quiet area which is good for families. Pool area is great and is surrounded with AstroTurf which is safer and one of the main reasons we picked this property, rather than usually being surrounded by tiles. Good breakout areas in shade as well as being in the sunshine. Highly recommend this villa.

Loved everything. Nothing not to like about the accommodation

I managed without a car but would have been useful. It’s a good 10 minute walk from the accommodation to the main road and I was with elderly people so had to get a taxi most of the time. Knew this before I went but if you order a taxi for more than 4 people it can take a while. Not the accommodations fault but something to consider

The Villa is so luxurious and beautiful. Beds are really comfortable, separate WiFi on each floor worked perfectly. Great to have washers, dryers & all mod cons. Ricardo our host was really helpful. Our recommended taxi driver Mikheil was so friendly & helpful, and added to the enjoyment and comfort of the trip. Would definitely recommend and would definitely like to return here.

Nothing major, a car would be helpful. The stairs won’t be great for small children.
