"We stayed 20 minutes in our room and booked a new hotel and left."

This hotel was a brothel and we didn’t realise until we got there. It is basically in the Bronx we had to wait an hour while they cleaned our room at 11oclock at night after an 8 hour flight. There was women’s hair all over the bathroom floor. We could not possibly sleep there even if we wanted to after a massive day of travelling as there was no sheets or blankets for the bed. The lady at the desk was nice enough but was obviously very shocked when we walked in and realised that we had a booking.

"Disappointing"

Not much.

The aircon is on a very low operating level. Our Tv didnt work on the second day and they just plainly said that its broken and we have to understand. The walls are full of oily stains.

The photos online demonstrate a cool relaxing room with great design- far from what you receive on arrival.

Arrived- bedroom was dirty- hairs on the bed and the floor. Wallpaper was ripped in multiple places. Bed was so thin - like a duvet on the base of a bed. No hot water for 2 days , we booked to be able to use the bath- unable to even have a shower for longer than a minute. Apparently the water is solar powered WiFi does not work Did not pay for this stay- manager gave this for free due to such a terrible experience
