Beaver Creek 2 Bed 2 Bath Condo 1 MIN Walk to Elk Lot

The place is very cozy and had everything we needed. Everything worked perfectly. The location is just a 6 min walk from Bear lot where you take the bus line for Beaver Creek. It is in a very private and quiet neighborhood with a river and bike/walk track just 10mts away.

The alarm of tbe house sounds most of the time you cook, it is very sensitive. The rooms are a little dark at night.

Location of the condo was convenient to the Bear parking lot where we could ride the express bus to Beaver Creek. Kitchen was well appointed and clean. King Bed in main bedroom was comfortable. The condo makes decent use of space in the main living areas with adequate seating for 3 to 4 people. The kitchen table had chairs for 6. The bathrooms were clean. The access was easy from the parking lot and the parking spot was relatively close by. The hosts were responsive to our question about walking to the Bear lot.

The second bedroom has a twin bunk bed/king bed setup that is pretty sketchy and unstable. We had to tighten the bolts ourselves to keep it from wobbling. We put two college students in there and it was tight with no room for their duffle bags. It’s really not practical for more than one person as the room is 9’x9’. Recommend changing it to a standard XL twin bunk bed and adding someplace to put a suitcase or duffle bag. The second bathtub had a stained shower curtain and there were no spare washcloths or hand towels (only 2 provided) to be found. There were no clean dish sponges or scrubbers in the kitchen. Could use space to put a suitcase instead of a computer desk in the main bedroom.

Apartment was well equipped. Only a one minute walk to the Blue Line bus stop. Also had Prime video.

Walls are paper thin. We could hear every noise from the extremely loud tenants from the apartment above.

~The check in process was very easy, as there was a door code and the hosts did a good job communicating if the property would be available early or not. Early check in was not available to us, but they let us park in the designated parking spot once the previous tenants had left so that we could go right to skiing. (*We skied at both Beaver Creek and Vail.) ~The kitchen had everything you would need for your stay. ~ The TV had Roku, which made my husband happy as he could watch hockey. ~The location is decent; it's a 10-minute walk to the Bear Lot for a free Beaver Creek bus. Short drive to a number of restaurants in Avon and not far from Vail if you want to ski two locations. ~We had a number of issues with the property during our stay, but the owners/hosts were very communicative during it and arranged for everything to be fixed as soon as we were out the next day (so it didn't interfere with our stay). ~Hosts also issued us a discount for our stay due to the issues -- which we appreciated.

As things sometimes go, we did have a number of issues with the property while we were there, but the hosts made sure to check in with us and did a good job communicating with us about them while we were there. Our issues centered around cleanliness (wet towels, dog hair, etc) and they informed us that it would be immediately addressed with the cleaning staff. We also had plumbing issues that affected the washer/ shower/ toilet lines. They were quick to find a plumber, and the plumber allowed for us to check out before coming in to address the water issues. Hosts also issued us a discount for the issues we had and amenities we couldn't use, which we appreciated. *We happened to be the unlucky occupants when things decided to break (hence the rating we gave), but I am sure it would be higher had those incidents not happened. Due to attentiveness of hosts, I do recommend staying, especially since issues are fixed.

Convenient and Great location, near river walk. Host(ess) friendly, easy to access and parking was simple. Restaurants with in walking distance.

Maybe the double/twin room, but would be awesome for children. Loved it and price. Willing to work with late departure. Not much we didn't enjoy.

Nice area, clean, convenient

Had to park a 7 minute drive away because we had a small trailer attached to our vehicle.

Great location, easy entrance, wonderful spot for walking outside!
