It was great location for legoland and was a good price

They need blackout blinds or curtains on the windows because it’s very bright in the morning. The runners need throwing away and replaced because they were wet and smelly.

Property was clean and set up nicely with a working Tv.

The front door locking mechanism seems slightly worn. The property had no cutlery besides one spoon. And the door locking mechanism on the toilet was broken. Other than that, everything else was okay

It was good to have a kettle in the room. The shower worked well.

The WiFi connection was terrible, and the TV didn't work. We raised this with the host, but they weren't willing to help since we were only staying 2 nights. The property is a converted garage, but we were surprised to find the garage door in the driveway. It didn't look welcoming at all. Then, in the very basic back garden, there were bits of shed and gas canisters stored there. No hand soap provided in the bathroom. Only 2 towels for 3 people. There was hospital furniture in the room, which was very odd. One of the beams supporting the top bunk bed was cracked. It was hard to sleep in the room as the privacy cover on the front door was peeling off, and there were no curtains or blinds or anyway of shutting the light out from any of the windows. It was very hot in the room. A fan is needed in such an enclosed space. It wasn't clean, the floor was dusty, there were ants in room and bloody fingerprints on the toilet roll.

I couldn't fault the cleanliness and location of the property, 15 minutes down the road from Legoland and half an hour away from Chessington which was perfect for us! Parking was ok but had to move the car a few times as the spaces are limited. The hosts seemed easy enough to get on with and made checking in a breeze, even warmed up the property for our arrival! The property soon heated up with the two heaters if you felt cold. I would definitely recommend it to someone and I would stop here again.

My children slept alright but I just couldn't get comfy after 3 nights as the mattress was too soft for me but nothing the hosts could do about it really, the back garden looks like it's seen better days too with the turf all over but with it being cold we didn't spend much time outside.

The comments below are observations rather than likes and dislikes. 1. If your main hobby is cat swinging, this is not the place for you, it's a converted singled garage where space is at a premium. 2. The room was kept warm by an electric wall heater, the worst overnight temperature was -5 degrees but the room was warm. 3. There is a 'Queen' size bed, with a single (bunk) bed above, I think this is a little unrealistic considering the lack of space in the room. 4. There was no table or chair(s) provided, I brought my own folding table and chair as I'd noticed this when booking, perhaps supply a similar set up for guests? 5. A toaster and plates are provided but no cutlery. 6. The light switch is by the front door, so once you have turned it off you have to find your way to the bed in the dark (I went to the local Asda and bought a lamp - £6.00 for the lamp, £5.50 for the bulb! 7. There is no outside light so, if approaching or leaving the room in the dark it's difficult to engage the key in the door lock. 8. The area is quiet, parking very easy and Asda, Lidl and a number of other stores literally 5 minutes away. 9. The rate charged reflects the facilities offered and I would have no problem staying there again (this stay was of a 2 week duration).
