Good location for a one-night overnight before catching an early ferry from Portsmouth to France

Very basic accommodation - but cheap. Yes there are four double-bed bedrooms, but there is only one bathroom (downstairs) - upstairs there is just a toilet & wash basin. So, facilities limited if you fill all the double bedrooms.

Property was very clean, and had all the esentails supplied

We arrived and the property was dirty, other people's clothes, sticky floors, marks in the sheets, dishes left on draining board. We enquired about parking permits before coming and were told to do it on the day, there was no answer on the phone or via chat or email with the host so couldn't get parking permits. The front door was broken so didn't feel secure, Bathrooms were unclean, there were old pajamas just discarded beside the stairs, a full rubbish bag next to the kitchen Not at all what you'd expect

Very spacious and a short walk to Fratton train station. Shops & pubs nearby including a very large Asda (supermarket). TV in every room which was a great touch. Kitchen was well equipped. Perfect for our family of 5 with young children (5, 8 & 9).

Very clean and well presented. Basic but everything we needed for a one night stopover before a big football game!

No bowls for morning cereal, not much nearby other than a corner shop for essentials. 35 minute walk to the beach, found some nice pubs and bars along the way.

It was good house big and spacious parking was ok if you buy permit communications was excellent. The bathroom was the top kitchen, but only the mattress was poor .and nor enough extra pillow overall good

Lovely big house with good facilities in the kitchen, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster etc.

Not enough cutlery, no baking trays, not enough towels or bedding. Bin half full when we got there. Front door doesn't feel secure. Needs silly things like mirrors in bedrooms. Text the owner a few times and he was very helpful but these are all basic things that should have been in place. House does need a spring clean, cobwebs on windows and the kitchen sink and draining board need a proper clean. Plates also were not clean when we got them out of the cupboard. This could be a really nice property but just needs someone to sort all the silly little things out.
