Suite 6 - Sleeping Giant Hotel - Pen Y Cae Inn

Lovely suites, quiet location, amazing food!

The power in our suite kept tripping. Staff rectified this quickly both times though.

The site was well presented, as it's a new site, and parking was available close to the room. All staff that we came across were kind and polite.

On arrival, my son opened the welcome pack, and a medication of some sort (from the previous occupant) fell onto his lap. Luckily, he is older, so he threw it in the bin. The shower buttons were jammed - I managed to unpop one with my card but that was the hand held shower head (although I did report it in the morning had no update about it for the rest of the stay). I wasn't able to use the kettle in the room due to the grime build-up inside. I personally thought breakfast was expensive, I was charged the flat rate of £12 for weetabix, toast, and a cup of tea.

Stunning accommodation in a lovely setting, very cosy feel and the warmest of welcomes. Hosts even let my partner and I have a late check out free of charge which was a nice touch.
