Loved that it was dog friendly The pub on site was excellent Lots of beautiful walks a short drive away

I stayed in suite 3 and it wasn't easy to park near the room and travelling on my own with the dogs made it a bit tricky getting into the room One of the entrances to parking is up a kerb and my card wouldn't have gotten up it easily. Would be good if that kerb could be dropped.

We enjoyed the micro-zoo concept and location was great between attractions in mid-wales. Love the large bathroom and smart lighting control. Thoughtful with oat creamer option for coffee/tea.

The comfort of the bed was not ideal. Mattress was basic and the bedding was made poorly for our stay.

"Rather extraordinary"

I absolutely love the location of where the hotel was in, it felt like a small village surrounded by nature. The interior is cozy and tidy, along with a book that had instructions, the menu to their restaurant and shares nice little locations on where to explore while staying at the hotel. The bathroom has a spacious shower that is convenient while cleaning yourself. There are plenty of towels when you arrive that will last for around 2 days (depending on if you are bringing the family or not) The beds are also soft and comfortable, there are two beds in this hotel which is ideal if you prefer a separate bed. I did not even realise that they had a smart TV that comes with normal television programs or accessing Youtube and Netflex if you already got Netflix. Ideal for movie night or to catch time to watch your favourite programs. The hotel location is a walking distance away from a gastro pub which has a restaurant upstairs as well that operates later in the evening. Behind the pub is a small Zoo that you can pay a small fee to explore all sorts of different animals. I was not expecting to see peacocks and a ferret which was a delight to see!

The light switches around the hotel are confusing to use at first. The ones on the walls lacked any sort of indication which one turns on which. However the ones on the tables next to the bed have small symbols of which one turns on but even then it was still a guessing game. The light switches also don't show which button turns it on and which doesn't, which we had to play around a bit just to figure out which one works for good. Also the handles in the shower lack any sort of indication on where to turn them, I couldn't tell if I had the shower too hot or if it even was turning to the cold setting to adjust temperatures. Lastly, there was no instructions on how to work the heater/air-cone so we had to press buttons to figure out which one changes the heater or into the air-cone for cooling. Yes there were instructions on the remote in the book but not on the one on the wall above the heater/air-cone. So some clear instructions on all of these problems would improve the experience just a little more!

"Amazing place to stay."

10.0

This place was pure luxury. Myself and 2 daughters absolutely loved it. The food and service at the pub was amazing and we loved the micro zoo. Our only regrets is that we didnt book to stay the whole weekend.

No negatives at all. Loved it.
