This place is a Gem of note. Myself and my family enjoyed this stay and wish we had book many more nights, any of my future trips to Durban will definitely be back to this exact unit. Everything was just so perfect, very well thought of, everything you think you need is there, i mean there was even milk in the fridge, for a self catering place this host has out done herself. Trust me when i say that this place is very well under priced. I would of given it a million stars if possible. When we arrived on the first day the unit was so clean that you could eat off the floor, no mould in the bathrooms, no bad odours. Very very well done Host! You need to be recognised for your efforts.👌 you will definitely be seeing me and my family again.

I honestly think that the only upgrade the place would need is a bigger bed in the main bedroom but again, for the price its absolutely worth it.

19 The Shades is perfect. The property, setting/location, and friendliness at the gate all exceeded my expectations. The extras added by the host are great and add to the experience.

We had a wonderful time in this little apartment, it had everything we needed and was the perfect size for a family of 3 and one uncle. The apartment is modern, light and airy and the beds were really comfortable. There's an amazing coffee machine and milk frother which we appreciated so much (and so many types of tea). It was such a pleasure to deal with Charmaine, she organised a very nice cot and even provided a high chair for our 7 month old. When I left my phone behind she went above and beyond to get it to me. Aside from her excellent hosting, the apartment is in the best location, so close to the beach in walking distance (just up a hill but it's manageable). We would definitely book here again!
