Cielo di Siena - 200 metri da Piazza del Campo

The position to the Piazza del Campo was very good. The apartment is a good size with bedroom, kitchen and living room. Bathroom is off the living area. Small utility room with the washing machine.

The bedroom is at the front and is very noisy as cars and motorbikes use Via Dupre both day and night. There is quite a slope to the road so they need to accelerate up the hill. No air conditioning just a fan.

Perfect location! Close walking to the main square and all the historical sites.

The apartment was great size, but I would recommend a shade for the bedroom as the street light shines in the window all night.

many stairs both up to and inside the apartment. Small and dark and dated furnishings. Would have appreciated a bottle of water on arrival and some hand-wash soap at the sink

We were not aware that contact would be by What’s App so missed first few messages and stood on doorstep for 30 mins. Liked overall ambience of apartment. Second ‘bedroom’ was in lounge but not needed so ok for us. Kitchen facilities were very good. Apartment was clean and furniture comfortable. For two people, good size. Add 2 children - ok, so long as they can sleep together on pull-out lounge. Four adults would not be comfortable.

Taxi couldn’t enter this street so there was a long steep walk up or down (we chose down) with big heavy suitcases, and same on leaving, to reach bus station which is difficult to say the least. Taxis couldn’t enter street. There was no access to English-speaking tv stations. Was said to be Smart tv but there was no access. Not Smart at all. Rubbish removal wasn’t brilliant - non existent with no bags for some categories of recycling.

I would recommend this place. Location was fantastic, the unit was art deco cute and very clean.

Unfortunately the blow dryer did not work 😳 big deal for 2 girls but we managed just fine..
