The location is convenient geographically to go around the Akan-Mashu national park. The room was rather large. The onsen was open 24/7 and also rather spacious.

Very run-down hotel. The area also is a bit sad with very few activities or restaurants, there are even abandoned hotels nearby. There were no curtains so a lot of light early in the morning. The staff started cleaning corridor or other rooms extremely early making a lot of noise. The onsen also is rather old, and the area for changing is very small.
