City Center Gem- Flat for 6 in Sheffield GS404

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Have had nothing but issues with this property. Got a message the morning of the booking to advise there was a leak and the reservation would be cancelled and a refund given. Tried to call and message the property numerous times to double check and to get the code for the lockbox but with no answer or response, so had to get accommodation elsewhere. Now the property is telling us that there was no issue and we just didn’t show up so refuse the refund.

Location is very ok though without parking

Faulty Flat 404 key box and got downgrade to the one bedroom apartment (Flat 403) nextdoor during check-in. The host avoided picking up calls when we had problem checking in and left us in the dark/cold outside for a long time before reponding our queries slowly through texts. No updates/instructions were given by the host to move us back to the original Flat 404 two bedrooom apartment on the subsequent day. The host refuses to issue a partial refund with the downgrade of our stay and insisted we have stayed in the two bedroom apartment while we have stayed in Flat 403 and not even entered Flat 404 once (We can provide full Whatsapp conversations and pictures we took during check-in/check-out as proofs). Lifts were broken and the corridors/stairs to access the flat were spooky. The shower has not been sealed properly in Flat 403 and water leaked that made the entire WC floor wet after shower. We have been reasonable throughout our stay and the communication with the host, with no expectation to deal with such difficult situations. We had been frustrated and disheartened by the host's dishonest, unprofessional and incompetent services and attitudes. Generally a horrendous and unbelievable experience that ruined our trip :(

Not happy with the property

We had several issues with the property, starting with it being unclean, especially the toilet. Initially, we had trouble accessing the property because the key provided was incorrect. After contacting the property team, it took them around two or three hours to resolve the issue, which was frustrating but understandable. However, once we finally got into the room, the condition of the toilet was unacceptable—beyond words. I have photos to support this. The response from the property management was extremely poor. They refused to clean the property and instead suggested that we clean it ourselves. Ultimately, we had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. They assured us they would refund the payment to my account, but I still haven’t received it. Despite trying to reach them through various channels, there has been no response. The management has been incredibly unprofessional. I strongly advise against booking this property.
