"Extremely Disappointing Stay โ€“ Unfair Charges & Poor Service"

Ok location.

We booked this property in good faith but were left very disappointed and frustrated. I want to warn other potential guests about our experience. Access & Arrival: The property was a nightmare to access โ€“ overly complicated, stressful, and not at all welcoming for guests who have just arrived from a long journey. Condition of Property: On arrival, we noticed several issues straight away: โ€ข A chaise lounge was already broken. โ€ข The Mickey poolside decoration was already damaged. โ€ข The outdoor pool sofa had a hole in it. โ€ข A drawer already had peeling laminate. โ€ข A toaster crumb tray and USB-C cable were missing from the start. Despite these being pre-existing problems, after we checked out the host tried to charge us for all of them. Even the king bed frame, which was intact when we left, was wrongly listed as damaged. Service Failures: โ€ข We paid over $600 for pool heating, but the pool remained cold the entire time and was effectively unusable. โ€ข A popcorn machine was delivered broken, later removed, and never replaced โ€“ yet still advertised as part of the propertyโ€™s amenities. Deposit Withholding: After our stay, the host attempted to withhold over $400 of our deposit for damages we did not cause. They failed to provide time-stamped before-and-after evidence proving the issues happened during our stay, which is deeply concerning and feels like an unfair practice. Overall: This was one of the most disappointing booking experiences Iโ€™ve ever had. Between the poor access, lack of working amenities, false damage claims, and refusal to refund paid services (like pool heating), I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking this property. I would not recommend this rental, and I urge Booking.com to review the conduct of this host to protect future customers.

"Very nice place for a large group."

Great unit, very clean. Communication from the host was great. Pool/hot tub outdoor area was very nice. Not too far from the clubhouse/pool- a nice walking distance.

Pool towels should be provided in the unit (as I had in previous units at the same resort). The line to get into the resort was absurd a few times at night, even though we already had a pass to get in- waited almost 30 minutes. They had a pool table with no cue ball. Kitchen pans were in bad shape. Resort is getting over crowded- there are no chairs at the pool after opening at 10am. They were clearing the land right in back of us, and they were burning the trees every day! I am not a fan of the proximity to the neighbors yards- the pools are just a few feet away from each other, and it is awkward.

"Poor customer service while in the USA and on return."

The actual property was great. Place was comfortable, there was 17 of us, I wouldnโ€™t recommend filling to capacity. Resort is good, busy with cats and in road parking is a bit of an issue in some areas.

The management company are awful. We lost water on one day, we then went out and they told us someone had been round to fix it. When we returned we still had no water, despite being told it was fixed. Some did come about 10pm and it was fixed. They also witheld some of the damage deposit for dirty towels and excess rubbish when we left. I contested this and was promised a refund. That was 2 months ago and now, have not had the refund they are not responding to my emails, or messages. They owe me $130. Now claiming through booking.com.

"Needs a better property management team."

House was very nice.

The property managers were horrible. Our family was without running water on the second day of our visit and the property management knew this and did nothing until the next day. The emergency line was useless. I am very unhappy with the response I go from Booking as well. Their representative hung up the phone on me when I called about my problem.
