1750's cottage with open fire and beams

Very cosy, comfortable and spacious

Beautiful home and had everything we needed for a couple of days.

Small path to get to the front door which is quite scary when road is busy!

Being situated on a busy main road which was noisy at times.

Perfection

Beautiful property in a nice location, cosy and well decorated, perfect for our stay. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and kitchen clean and well equipped. Back garden was also lovely with plenty of seating options.

Parking away from the property wasn’t ideal but obviously understand nothing can be done regarding that. We couldn’t see any logs etc to start up the fire which would have been nice.

Relaxing and clean. Very pleasant stay.

Really cosy, warm and comfortable cottage. Location was very convenient for getting to our concert on Saturday night in Manchester Dogs loved the garden (shame our weather wasn’t great as we would have made more use of that!) Good local pubs and places to walk

A few very minor things - a few missing bits of equipment, a bread knife would have been handy! No matches / firefighter, kindling, firefighters for fire no particular issue as bought from the co-op There is road noise during the day in the living room which can’t really be helped it being an old cottage next to a busy road - it quietens down at night.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location. Ideal place to stay explore. A mix of old & modern mixed together really well

Banging my head on the beam/doorframe, going from the main bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Even though the low beams are mentioned adequately maybe a little something to cushion the blow or highlight them could be put in place.
