Appena arrivi parcheggio molto comodo nel giardino, chiavi facilmente recuperabili, stanza molto spaziosa e luminosa, vicina al lago e al centro del paese.

Purtroppo non è stata una bella esperienza perchè la doccia era difettosa e usciva solo acqua bollente e ustionante. Abbiamo avvisato il contatto il secondo giorno che qualcosa non andava perchè era difficile ottenere acqua tiepida ma si sono attivati solo il terzo giorno dopo aver comunicato che la situazione era sempre peggiore. Quindi per 3 giorni doccia quasi inutilizzabile e comunque con molta fatica. Il letto aveva un materasso molto molle, non esattamente così comodo quindi. Pulizia non sono un pignolo ma non so quanto sia stato pulito a terra; sotto il puff che ho spostato un pochino per averlo piu comodo come posizione c'erano grumi di polvere e la testiera del letto in stoffa era nel punto alto molto polverosa. Poi non abbiamo chiesto (quindi in caso se vi interessa chiedete conferma) dato che non ci servivano ma non abbiamo visto ne scopa ne prodotti per la pulizia di casa, ma non mangiando in casa fortunatamente non ci servivano. Non abbiamo nemmeno visto uno stendino per eventuali teli o costumi (a noi non serviva perchè non siamo stati al lago a fare il bagno). Mancava anche una bacchetta per appendere i vestiti in alto all'armadio. Infine l'host non è presente sul posto; non è un problema ma se risponde dopo ore in alcuni casi non è molto comodo.

Very nice and available hosts, even if we did not personally meet them. Very good apartment and distance to the lakeside & Stresa's Old City.

Some small technical issues in the shower, dust under the bed. We would not have minded the dust, but our almost 4 year old was hiding quite often under the bed 🛏️ :)

Light & airy studio. Very close to town, lakefront and boats. Bed really comfy. Clean and reasonably equipped. Parking on site. Good communication with local rep by WhatsApp.

No dinner plates.

Excellent location. Very close to the local supermarket and 5 minutes from both the beach and the centre of town. Aircon and the parking space both essential we found.

Only thing we missed was a clothes iron.

The location was really nice, and it was clean.

There weren't any water makers.

The tap in the kitchen was barely holding on the kitchen sink, also the sink in bathroom was always congested with only water.

The studio is in a fabulous location- so close to town centre (6 minute walk), supermarket is around the corner (two minutes walk) and plenty of restaurants. It is affordable and minimal but clean. Easy to find the place and close to the train station as well!

The studio temperature setting thermostat is locked so you can’t actually make the room comfortable temperature for your needs. The studio has a basic coffee pot but nothing is complimentary- no salt or oil, coffee or anything. You need to completely self cater including getting adequate toilet rolls and body wash. We are two adults staying for five nights and got given only two 5ml body wash sachets and a toilet roll. To be fair, we didn’t call the owners and just bought our own and left some for the next guests!

The area is a quiet residential area. The room was clean apart from the mould around the shower base. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare simple meals. The apartment faced the front of the building so we got the afternoon sun which was appreciated. WIFI worked well during daytime but was erratic at night. The apartment is close to the train station and a large supermarket.

We knew there was no lift. It was 45 stairs to the apartment. The advert on Booking.com stated there were two sofas. One to sleep on which was incredibly uncomfortable. The óther one'to sit on, except it didn't exist. The agent said that on Booking.com site there were two apartments which had their description merged; most confusing. The dining chairs were hard shell type. Although there was quite a lot good with the apartment, the sheer uncomfortable six days we spent here overshadowed everything. There was no hot water one day.

Stresa is a lovely place to visit. The apartment is close to the station and not far to walk to lake area
