Homestay w Zuku the Cat - 10 mins from downtown, 20 from airport

Place is very clean, and the air conditioning was welcome. Host is fantastic. 1 block away from 4 fast food restaurants and bus stops. Transit was very easy to use. ~ 10 min ride into downtown. Highly recommend downloading the MyKey app to load money for transit fare, although having your own vehicle or using a ride-share may be a better option.

This was my first time in Indianapolis, and I felt very "out of place". Everyone was really nice, and I came home safely, but it seemed to me (and this is only my opinion) that many people are either current or former drug users. Many were missing teeth, and a few were like zombies. I was on high alert walking to the bus stop, and waiting at the bus stop. Cars would slow down and say things to me and/or stare. Happened every day, multiple times/day, and I'm not used to this. I felt like everyone knew I wasn't from around there. The Dollar Tree Mgr. rushed out to greet me to ask if I needed help finding anything. Very nice, and welcome, but I'm not used to this. Back home, it's like I'm invisible. Nobody pays any attention to me. If you're not up for this type of adventure or perhaps just want to play it safe rent a car or use a ride-share. It was an eye-opener.

Rainbow was a great host and very accommodating.

you can use all the electrical appliances, cups and saucers (wash them before you leave)~~ and I like the cat.

I didn't receive the lock code before, but the landlord told me when I arrived.

Its very charming and comfortable. The rooms are big and the bed are perfect. Its so comfy to walk on the carpet and it has everything in the house you could possibly need.

The showerhead is not the best and at all times the feetshower is leaking water too. Also the sink doesnt spoil shaved hairs and stuff down very good.

Came to Indianapolis for a concert so I only stayed one night, but this was a great spot to do so for! Would definitely book again! Zuku was a highlight for me, such a sweet friendly cat ❤️
