"KUCHING was wonderful !!!"

Great view from the apartment window (12th floor) of the surrounding areas. Very "upmarket" look to the apartment and comfortable. Took a bit of time to find the restaurants, bars and shops but we got there (walking) in the end. Very helpful & friendly people everywhere in Kuching, especially the young security guard in reception on floor level 2 !!!

Lots of last minute Chat messages on WhatsApp when we were still connected, to arrange how & where to collect the keys but it worked out OK in the end - not everyone uses Apps or has constant access to the Internet, especially if you (we) are over 76 years old ! Was a big worry until we got to the apartment and spoke to the other security guard at Basement 2 level. Didn't try the "street food" in the Central Market in the evening because whole area was very very dirty and smelly
