#608 Cartwright - Urban Hideaway

The apartment had everything we needed for a week of exploring Cape Town. The building is very safe, with friendly security guards who were happy to answer any questions.

The room is exactly as shown in the pictures. It's also equipped with everything you would need from a foldable laundry line, washing powder to fabric softener. They even had a small cookie jar for us. Everything was clean, and housekeeping was done daily (not common for self-catering accommodation in Cape Town. Usually, one has to pay extra for that) The bed & pillow were comfortable and clean. There's a lot. The apartment was the gift that kept on giving.

The aircon kept on blowing cold air even when set according to the housekeepers instructions, but there was a small fan heater, which helped quite a lot during the cold nights.

It was cleaned every day and it had basically everything we needed apart from the lack of a long mirror and that we only realised that it had air conditioning on the day of departure. Tv had good channels. Nespresso machine was good too

The bad neighbourhood. It was busy and noisy and had a liquor store next door where we witnessed shoplifting. We decided to walk to the spa to buy groceries on our first day and felt overwhelming nervous. From then onwards we caught an Uber every where. Today as we left there was a police guard standing outside the liquor store with a huge gun (AR 35), in his hands as there was a fight breaking out, I have now moved to sea point.

Everything. Stylish apartment..location. fitness centre. Everything was perfect. Thank you.😃🌼
