The property was in a good location for us. There were two (2) couples travelling in our group so lots of places to choose where to sleep and gather. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We felt safe.

The property appears older than the online pictures. It definitely weds a deep clean and some basic updating. You have to pay $100. more per day if you want to use the hot tub which is not noted anywhere online before you book. The pool was not inviting.

It was really nothing not to like, unless your squeamish about asking questions concerning operation & function

Astounding House was a safe, peaceful and convenient locale for our stay in Dallas. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for our needs. Everyone made good use of the pool and patio area. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

It was spacious and comfortable

That it rained 3 out of 4 days and the eves were broken and we had to wade through 2-3 inches of water after the rain. It also made it very damp and musty smelling and caused an issue with flies The other issue was that whoever cleaned the property did not sweep the rugs, the wood floors were clean but totally missed them.

The facility

The host was a bad person. There was construction in the area where we were to park at the house. A utility person told us that the area was closed and that they had told the owners. We called the host because of the issue, and he immediately told us that we were trying to stay at the place for free. He didn't give us the wire fi information, nor did he contact us after we sent a message. This was our first time using an Airbnb, and if this is how the reaction is when there are issues, we will have to find others arrangements.
